St. Stephen the Martyr Council #13468 was formally recognized by State Deputy, Richie Head, at the State Quarterly Meeting at Fr. Diamond Council (St. Leo's Church) in Fairfax on Saturday, March 6, 2004. Chancellor James Green and Financial Secretary Chris Kelly represented the Council and received a $100 check from the State Deputy to begin council operations.
Our council is 75 members strong and growing. We represent all three Faith Communities of St. Stephen the Martyr Parish -- the parish home in Middleburg, as well as Corpus Christi Mission in South Riding/Stone Ridge/Aldie and St. Katharine Drexel Mission in the Haymarket/Gainesville area.
Regular Council meetings are held on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month.
The 2nd Tuesday is our monthly Business Meeting, and it is held at the Corpus Christi Catholic Center in Chantilly, VA. The meeting begins at 8:00 pm sharp, and is preceded by Rosary at 7:30 pm in the Catholic Center Chapel.
The 4th Tuesday is our monthly Social Meeting, and it is held at the Firkin and Hound Restaurant in South Riding, VA. The meeting begins at 8:00 pm sharp.
