Keep Christ in Christmas (KCIC)
We will be selling Christmas Cards with religious themes to promote the real meaning of Christmas. There are a wide variety of designs available, and all are very reasonably priced. Cards will be on sale at Corpus Christi after the 10:00 Mass on Sundays throughout November.
Project Moses
A non-profit organization committed to re-establishing respect and appreciation for the Ten Commandments. Our council will have small monuments for sale throughout the year. Pick up a brochure after Mass, or visit the Project Moses website at www.projectmoses.com, for more information.
KOVAR
In 1971 a group of Virginia Knights seeing the unfulfilled needs of the Citizens of Virginia with Mental Retardation decided they had to do something about it and KOVAR was formed. It began as a small effort and through the generosity of the Knights of Virginia, their families and the citizens of Virginia has grown into the largest non-governmental fund raising charity in Virginia specifically dedicated to helping citizens with mental retardation. This year we will make a grant that will push the total since 1971 to over 10 million dollars.
The next KOVAR drive will be held in April 2007. Please watch this space for more details.
